Our roots began with Lindor Maletzke Sr., who was the owner and head grower at Sunny Point Floral from 1900 into the 1960s. Lin and Janet Maletzke, followed in his footsteps and founded Lin's Flowerland in the 1940s, a greenhouse business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together, they actively ran the nursery and in 1970 they formed Carlin Sales Corporation to distribute fine home & commercial gardening products to an ever growing list of customers throughout the Midwest. Since that time, Carlin Sales has continued to flourish. In October of 2004, Carlin Horticultural Supplies purchased the assets of ProGreen Plus, a distributor of commercial and residential landscape supplies, and offer our customers two convenient locations: New Berlin, Wisconsin and Joliet, Illinois. |
