Employment at Scottrade means working for a company that is constantly growing and changing, which creates numerous career paths for our associates. We believe in providing our associates with opportunities for professional development: in 2004, Scottrade filled 50 percent of its open positions internally.

Scottrade's internship program has established relationships with colleges and universities across the nation, and in 2004, 41 percent of our graduating interns accepted full-time positions with the firm. More than 20 percent of our branch managers began their Scottrade careers as interns.

Throughout our history, Scottrade has not closed a branch or laid off an associate. We continue to increase our branch network by 15 to 20 percent annually, and our associate base grows by an average of 25 percent each year. As Scottrade continues to succeed, so do our associates.
