Description

Your Role: Maintain all ammonia refrigeration and fire protection equipment, ammonia and fire alarms, also work directly with management teams to develop and maintain company safety and risk management guidelines. Communicate expectations and monitor/evaluate assigned personnel.

  • Train assigned personnel to safely and efficiently operate and maintain all ammonia systems and facility equipment
  • Develop written operating procedures for normal operation and emergency situations
  • Daily, monthly, and yearly inspections on equipment
  • Develop incident reports on any and all malfunctions, system shutdowns, or accidents
  • Provide support for building maintenance and refrigeration projects
  • On-call duties
  • Emergency response team member
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Role Specifics:

  • Scheduled: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30am or 7:00am-3:30am.
  • Indoor and outdoor work with temperatures ranging from below 0 to above 100 degrees with high humidity
  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel to other company facilities or outside facilities for training. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

We Need You To Have:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
  • Experience in ammonia refrigeration or extensive Freon refrigeration background or building maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of 120V, 480V 3-phase
  • Experience in a safety-sensitive environment

We'd Like You To Have:

  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to independently solve problems
