TransUnion is looking for an innovative Content Marketing Senior Consultant to join its global B2B Marketing team. The ideal candidate will develop, execute, and implement compelling, multichannel, bar-raising content that drives engagement and supports TransUnion's position as an industry leader in its U.S. Markets Media & Entertainment (M&E) Vertical line of business.

What You'll Bring:

The candidate must excel at working with cross-functional teams to develop content that speaks directly to our customers' critical business issues and TransUnion's differentiated value throughout all phases of the buyer journey. He/she/they will own the content development of different assets in support of our integrated, multi-deliverable campaigns, including thought leadership, consideration, and purchase-stage content.

    • 3+ years of practical content strategy experience to inform content creation that spans the customer journey

    • 6-8+ years of practical B2B content marketing writing experience with technology products, with experience in Media & Entertainment

    • Experience communicating across multiple earned media platforms (digital, social, traditional); knowledgeable practitioner of viral uses of social media and social media best practices

    • Experience in agile planning and light AEM webpage assembly

    • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning and supporting messaging

    • Creative thinker and storyteller talented at translating technical capabilities and advancements into customer-centric, benefit-driven language

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

    • Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills in both content development as well as maintaining an editorial calendar

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or equivalent, preferred

    This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Locations: Chicago/New York.

    Impact You'll Make:

    • Report to the Director of Marketing Communications.

    • Brand-aligned multi-channel content to support marketing campaigns for all stages in the customer journey

    • Collaborate with internal content strategy lead, M&E marketing lead, and business leadership stakeholders to facilitate and collect GTM inputs that will inform the development/production of content assets that map to business objectives

    • Provide alignment/understanding of themes derived by M&E marketing, business, and content strategy leadership into content assets

    • Create and impart content strategy into the content vision you conceive for the M&E vertical

    • Conceive and write content that ties to business goals and audience needs in various asset archetypes such as blogs, articles, landing pages, reports, whitepapers, eBooks, infographic content, video scripts, email and social media verbiage, etc.

    • Manage copy and content on the corporate website. Ensure content is added on the appropriate web pages, available at the appropriate time in the customer journey, updated as needed, and shared with the appropriate internal teams

    • Continually audit the content library to make sure content is accurate, current, and maps to our overall content themes

    • Ensure M&E content is tagged appropriately in AEM for SEO

    • Monitor, track, and report on content metrics, and understand where we are excelling and what areas need improvement and monitor content trends across competitors to ensure we're sustaining our position of a creative and aggressively competitive thought leader

    • Support in the development of customer communications including case studies, monthly newsletters, and email marketing.

    Pay Scale Information :

    The salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $132,000.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
