Summary
We are hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist/ Speech Therapist to join our team in Senior Living.

Responsibilities
* Evaluates the patient to determine rehab potential, identify needs, establishes an individualized treatment plan of care and set goals for each patient.
* Sets initial STG's and LTG's.
* Utilizes equipment in a proper and safe manner, maintains equipment inspection, maintenance, and cleaning logs, and reports broken or faulty equipment.
* Follows medical regimen developed for the patient, is aware of and adheres to precautions if applicable (THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.).
* Utilizes safe treatment techniques to include compensatory methods for swallowing and communication.
* Selects proper diagnostic materials to assess all aspects of communication and/or swallowing function.
* Completes D/C summary for each patient on their final visit to outpatient ST.
Education and Experience
* Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure in state of practice.
* Current CPR certification required.
* Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
