Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

Essential Functions:

* Write Test plans and participate in Test plan/code reviews

* Build efficient automated regression test suite

* Troubleshoot issues and participate in root cause analysis

* Take ownership and be accountable for assigned work

* Actively engage and contribute to grooming product features

* Collaborate and interact effectively within a team

* Ability to coordinate cross-team activities effectively

* Provide constructive feedback for process improvements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, training, or work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Required Experience:

* Minimum 7 + years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual testing and automated test development

* Experience testing customer-facing web applications

* Experience in creating, executing, and debugging automated tests using Selenium or a similar framework

* Hands on experience with REST and SOAP service testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI

* Solid understanding and work experience in SQL queries to validate the data in relational database platforms like SQL Server or Oracle

* Experience in practicing testing practices in an Agile environment, including estimation, requirement analysis, and delivery life cycles

* Strong background on establishing quality standards, following appropriate testing methods, tools, and strategies in the release delivery phases

* Excellent communication and be able to effectively coordinate and partner with other scrum teams

* Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Experience:

* Agile Scrum and/or Scaled Agile experience (SAFe)

* Git, TFS or other similar source control tools

* Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies

* Be engaged and actively contribute to planning and continuous improvement discussions

* Critical thinking skills to analyze a situation and estimate effort

* Always learning and sharing with team members

* Object oriented programming (Java or C# or Python), Selenium, SQL
