Description

The Program Director, Prospect Development Reporting and Analytics reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Program Director, Prospect Development Reporting and Analytics leads the design and implementation of the NMF prospect reporting and data analytics strategy and team. This leader plays a vital role in helping NMF meet its fundraising and strategic goals by deepening NMF's institutional knowledge of its prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee NMF's Prospect Development Reporting and Analytics team:
    • Lead data mining, predictive modeling and forecasting projects in alignment with known plans and initiatives
    • Work collaboratively across NMF to execute cross-platform and interdepartmental projects and encourage overall data-driven decision making
    • Conduct benchmarking and evaluative studies to provide insights into effectiveness of current fundraising activities
    • Continually assess opportunities for improved system protocols, including automation
    • Assist in training current, new and related staff on understanding and interpretating reports and models
    • Provide analysis or prospect giving and demographic data to inform fundraising and administrative strategies
    • Liaison with NM's Analytics team, which has two analysists dedicated to NMF, to develop reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision making
    • Fulfill ad-hoc data analysis to multiple stakeholders
  • Provide excellent and high-quality customer service to colleagues, donors and vendors

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • 5+ years of experience in a fundraising, community outreach, healthcare or development position with a proven track record, preferably in a non-profit organization;
  • Ability to earn the confidence of a wide range of internal and external constituents and to network within a professional, corporate environment;
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational, analysis and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent oral, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High degree of professionalism, sensitivity, and integrity;
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, initiative and highly effective listening/communication skills;
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively and track details;
  • Demonstrate high levels of leadership and flexibility in a team environment;
  • Comfortable leading multiple projects, accurately setting priorities for team(s) on a regular basis, thinking creatively and working as both a collaborative team member and leader;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred:

  • Healthcare fundraising experience;
  • Prior staff, budget and operational management experience;
  • Public speaking and presentation skills;
  • Advanced degree;
  • Microsoft Dynamics database experience.
