Position Highlights:

• Position: Manager, Utilization Management

• Location: Warrenville, IL

• Full Time

• Hours: M-F 8-30

Plans, manages, and coordinates all aspects of the Utilization Management team. Collaborates with internal and external parties to ensure efficient revenue cycle workflows and processes for patients within the system. Develops education strategies for medical necessity to enhance financial viability of the organization. Responsible for analysis and education on revenue cycle and insurance trends pertaining to behavioral health.

What you will need:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

• Knowledge of DSM IV-R (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) diagnostic criteria and patient rights and law pertaining to mental health

• Knowledge of the different levels of hospital mental health care-inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Minimum Education requirements:

• Master's Degree in a behavioral health-related field or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or PHD in Psychology

Minimum Licensure Requirements:

• Current State of Illinois licensure e.g. LCSW, LCPC, LSW, LPC, Clinical Psychologist License or RN

Minimum Work Experience:

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience

• Minimum three years of health care experience

• A minimum of two years of previous experience as a UM associate or related job roles.
