Entry Level Shipping Specialist - $17/hr Sunlite Plastics - Germantown, WI

Sunlite Plastics is a custom extrusion company that specializes in high volume, tight tolerance, flexible medical tubing. We also compound PVC materials for our own use. Sunlite’s customers include many of the most highly regarded medical device OEMs in the world.

As a Shipping Specialist at Sunlite, we offer a competitive wage starting at $17.00/hr with opportunities for 3 increases during your first year and annually thereafter. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring prompt and accurate shipment of our products and verifying incoming shipments to ensure total customer satisfaction. We are seeking a candidate who will excel in a fast-paced, energetic, and challenging work environment while working within critical deadlines. Sunlite also offers a comprehensive benefits package. Shipping Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

· Accurately pull product for shipment

· Stack, sideboard, and wrap product for containers and other forms of shipment

· Load product on various size truck containers

· Unload incoming products from various trucking companies

· Follow all required ISO regulations as communicated through the Quality Management System

· Enter shipping data into FedEx and UPS systems to prepare for delivery

· Learn and perform required paperwork for all types of shipments

· Maintain cleanliness and organizational level in the warehouse area at all times

· Follows Good Documentation Practices per procedure

· Demonstrates a positive attitude and relates in a positive manner when interacting with all company personnel and outside trucking companies and delivery companies

· Follows all safety policies

Shipping Specialist Requirements:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

· Willing to train the ambitious, energetic, positive individual.

· Proactive, professional, self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.

Shipping Specialist Physical Demands:

· Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, balance, and stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.

· Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· Operate hand jacks, stand up forklift (will be license certified by Sunlite)
