Sales Engineer, Digital Building Solutions US Northeast

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Engineer with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales by targeting new prospects and cultivating existing customer relationships to achieve high renewal rates and customer satisfaction. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to acquire new customers, drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, ensure customer retention, and contribute to the overall success of our business. Expertise in selling technology solutions and the ability to build strong relationships with senior executives will be instrumental in achieving our sales targets.

What You Will Do:

  • Establish strong relationship with C-level and IT leaders at existing and prospecting customers. Become a trusted consult and advisor to successfully match customer vision and requirements to proposed solutions.
  • Drive demand creation. Position yourself as a trusted advisor, and SME for digital building solutions and influence Design consultant and Specifiers. In collaboration with BDM manage and expand the Design Professionals and firm's ecosystem within the territory.
  • Prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles and partner ecosystem. Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
  • Turning complex information into clear and understandable USPs. Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence, share knowledge with sales and technology management.
  • Ideate and execute territory tailored marketing initiatives to expand solution awareness, attract interest and prospects. Leverage existing VARs and ecosystem partners to successful organize event such as lunch and learn, webinar, workshops and other type of technical marketing events.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

* BA/BS degree or equivalent

* Strong Marketing Skills and Business Acumen

* Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions

* Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development


What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Previous experience in building automation and/or lighting control software platform
  • Experience with sales enablement in a partner & alliances context
  • Strong background in software - and digital- based products positioning and commercialization.
