Position Description
This position reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for the following:
* Schedules clinic appointment for new, established, and referred patients within prescribed limits.
* Prints, distributes, and maintains clinic schedules.
* Confirms patients' appointments by telephone 48 hours in advance.
* Checks patient in upon arrival; captures referring physician primary physician information as appropriate.
* Collects any co-pay required for patients' visit and provides patients' with receipt.
* Verifies insurance coverage for patients visits.
* Collaborates with nursing staff to ensure that all patient care activities are coordinated and managed effectively.
* Keeps work environment neat, organized, and appropriately stocked.
* Registers all patients in a complete, efficient, and timely manner.
* Pre-registers all patients in an efficient and timely manner.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Candidates must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a reception/customer service setting.
