GENERAL DUTIES:

Under the supervision of a physical therapist, performs occupational therapy treatments and provides exercise instruction for assigned patients.

Under supervision administer such treatments as exercise, gait training, message, hot packs, diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin, ice packs, Biodex and E-stim.

Assists in the fitting of and evaluation of prosthetic and orthotic devices and may recommend adjustments to prothetist and orthotist.

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.

REQUIRED:

1+ years of adult PTA experience

Illinois State Certified Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing

CPR Certification

Excellent customer service and communication skills
