Downers Grove Marriott Suites, located at 1500 Opus Place in Downers Grove seeks an Engineer II to join their staff. Responsibilities include general building, mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance. Requires a proficient or expert level of knowledge and skill in at least one of the following areas with a general knowledge of all areas:

* HVAC/Refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and finishing, painting, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
* Mechanical repair skills are especially desired.
* 3-5 years experience in a related position with knowledge of general and preventative maintenance required; specialization in a specific trade (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, etc.) and vocational certification preferred.
* Training provided; seeking individuals with basic knowledge and skills in building maintenance who are willing and able to be cross-trained across skills and to develop new skill sets and knowledge.
* Must be available to work a flexible full time schedule including weekends and holidays, rotating AM/PM shifts and days.
