We are seeking a self-motivated, sales-oriented individualto join our Shelter Mortgage team as a Loan Officer in our First SterlingMortgage lending partnership with one of the top 5 real estate companies in theChicagolandmarket.

As the Loan Officer, the primary responsibilities will be:

1. Develop a network of business with realtors within thePartnership

2. Creatively match loan products to the needs of thecustomer

3. Take applications for residential mortgage loans andselect the appropriate program from a wide range of innovative products

4. Accumulate credit and other financialdocumentation

5. Other duties as assigned

The qualified candidate must have a high-school diploma anda minimum of 1-year mortgage lending sales experience or a residential realestate background. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven ability tosell products, achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service,assertiveness and have proficient computer skills. Knowledge of mortgage loanpricing and guidelines is necessary. Experience working with real estate agents a plus!
