Description:
The individual will serve as a supply chain and subcontracts lead for a substantial portion of products/services procured for the IRCM business area. The person will report to the IRCM Supply Chain Manager. For a designated portion of IRCM, the individual will be responsible for the cost, schedule and performance requirements for all suppliers to include major subcontracted suppliers. Responsible for all phases of the procurement effort from the initiation of the proposal phase through negotiations/strategy, award, management of supplier activities to meet program objectives. Individual will be responsible to establish performance, cost and schedule milestones with suppliers and manage the performance to the committed schedules, terms, conditions and contractual requirements/specifications. Basic qualifications: 10 years experience in supply chain administration, major subcontracting, contracting, project management, logistics project management, engineering project management or similar experience on complex weapons systems for DoD programs. Knowledge of defense contracting requirements including ITAR, FAR, and DFARS knowledge. Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of European acquisition standards a plus. Experience with foreign suppliers a plus. Education: A4 - Bachelors degree plus 10-14 years of relevant experience, or Masters degree plus 8-12 years of relevant experience; A5 - Bachelors degree plus 15 or more years of relevant experience or Masters degree plus 13 or more years of relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a government security clearance is also required.

Develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
