Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Medical Counter-CBRN MAJCOM Planner - Scott AFB, IL.

POSTION DESCRIPTION
The Planner will function as a medical subject matter expert on the MC-CBRN and Home Station Medical Readiness (HSMR) requirements related to the Air Mobility Command, the Air Force, and DOD. Knowledge of emergency management, the Air Force Incident Management System (AFIMS) and CBRN will be used to ensure all appropriate MCRP annexes address MC-CBRN and fully support the base's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP 10-2) and the National Response Framework (NRF). The Planner will ensure base emergency response plans support local, state and federal first responders as the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act stipulates. As a result, the Planner will support the MAJCOM's emergency response structure by advising on CBRN threats during a Home Station Medical Response (HSMR) and by identifying any problems that may hamper the response. Responsibilities include development of functional checklists, annexes and operational plans for the installation, develop and use comprehensive self-inspection checklists to make observations and identify MC-CBRN program findings related to the MTFs. Further, the successful candidate will be the key interface with their Air Staff counterparts to consult on MAJCOM/IG checklists to shape Wing inspections and operational exercises. The Planner will analyze MC-CBRN spend plans and determine the most efficient way to execute the HSMR program. Coordination of the MC-CBRN program fiscal planning efforts and advise the MC-CBRN program manager on how to attain funding for HSMR assemblages.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Bachelor's degree in medical CBRN-related area plus 4 years' experience in bioenvironmental engineering, medical readiness, medical operations, emergency management, homeland defense, public health, or medical logistics planning, training, and exercising; or associate's degree in a related field and 8 years' experience.
- Working knowledge of the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS).
- Experience in evaluating homeland defense/CBRN programs.
- Experience in planning and managing medical readiness/CBRN-related programs.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Functional knowledge of Air Force organization, Surgeon General functions, medical readiness mission, Air Force Incident Management System, Air Force Emergency Management Program, and concepts related to CBRN, first responder and first receiver.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
Master's degree in medical CBRN-related area.

Possesses an active DoD Secret security clearance.
