Position Description
Under general direction, completes a variety of clerical and messenger functions of the area including pulling/filing patient medical records by section; preparing records returned to file; purging records; delivery and pick up charts to and from internal area; maintaining the quality and integrity of the filing area; increasing responsibility and independent actions including preparation for the medical record file; assembly and analysis of the outpatient medical record; assisting physicians and staff in chart location and completion; communicating with patients, physicians and other department staff to complete patient information and patient status issues in a professional manner; greet patients and answer incoming call professionally.
We are seeking a bilingual(spanish) candidate with previous health information management experience only.
