OBJECTIVE The objective of Wrigley's Finance Development Program (FDP) is to provide newly hired college graduates with the critical finance and accounting skills and experiences from which they can develop into more senior roles in the organization.
The program is designed to provide exposure to certain key finance and accounting areas during the first 2 years of an associate's career. This is followed by a 2 to 3 year rotation through a Budgeting and Analysis group within one of the business units or within one of the Corporate groups.
At the end of an associates first 4 to 5 years, he or she will have obtained a common and critical set of technical, systems and business experiences that enable them to move into more advanced finance positions. These could include, among others:
Through both on-the-job experiences and other training opportunities outlined below, the associate will also have further developed their oral and written communication skills, team leadership abilities and overall general business acumen. |

THE FIRST TWO YEARS This begins with an initial assignment in either the Corporate Controller's group, or within the Financial Shared Services group:

REQUIREMENTS This entry-level position requires a candidate with a Bachelors degree in accounting or finance with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong PC skills are imperative, as is the ability to work in a team-based environment with a spirit of innovation and dedication.
