Job Summary

  • Assists Jurisdictional Engineering Manager to accomplish the department goals

      Job Functions
    • Work closely with Jurisdictional Engineering - Technical Compliance engineers and Submission Coordinators to ensure product is submitted accurately based on the submission requirements of regulatory approval agencies.
    • Attend project management meetings and provide input to engineering, which includes mechanical, electrical, software development, game development, and other internal customers regarding regulatory specific issues with new complex product development, as well as existing games.
    • Take a roll in the preparation for new submission on all major product submissions as well as any high performance items, specifically new concept products on all product types.
    • Coordinate and review the technical documentation of all submission material for new product submissions.
    • Provide management written weekly updates on technical project status.
    • Key contact on process improvement aspects with respect to the Jurisdictional Engineering department.
    • Work closely with the automation team with respect to JESA system.

      Position Requirements

      Education

    • Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

        Required Experience
      • Work experience in C/C++, Linux programming
      • Work experience in web design / programming

          Preferred Experience
        • 2 + years of experience in the gaming industry or similarly regulated field
        • Real-time embedded systems and database experience (SQL, Oracle, and Access)

          • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software packages’ standard features.
          • Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
          • Excellent written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively compose correspondence and narrative reports which communicate messages consistent with the company policy to both internal and external audiences, using appropriate tone, grammar, and word usage.
          • Identify problems, analyzes the situation, and makes appropriate recommendations and decisions, which achieve mutually desired results.
          • Establish, monitors, and achieves goals with minimal supervision.
          • Work in a team environment.
