The Department of Publishing seeks a design-conscious intern who can assist our production team with galley corrections, image processing, and development of our digital catalogues. Intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of how publications are produced, how the department serves the institution, and how today's museum publishing programs operate.

We are looking for upper-level undergraduates, graduate students, or students in professional programs who are interested in pursuing careers in museum publishing.

• Upper-level undergraduates, graduate students, or students in professional programs with an interest in publishing
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Microsoft Word/Excel
• Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Bridge)
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Knowledge of digital photography/imaging a plus

College Credit: Available. If you are planning on applying for school credit or support, please include any relevant deadlines at the top of your letter.

Hours: Flexible; minimum of two full days per week (14 hours)
