Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Software Engineering Interns (PAID) must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference for a standing of a junior or higher.
Must be willing/able to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience with multiple platforms such as Linux, Windows and other Unix flavors.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Software Engineering Intern (PAID) to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to work on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission. Software Engineering Interns (PAID) conduct or participate in the research, design and development of systems software, software applications and/or tools for Internal Research and development (IRaD) programs. Responsibilities also include enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing software. In addition, our interns are responsible for coding, testing, integrating and documenting software solutions.
