Job Description
The IT support specialist will be responsible for providing end user support by answering support requests. This position reports to the IT director.

As IT support specialist 1 you will:
  • Responsible for providing Tier 1 analytical support for Microsoft products, user endpoint workstations and networking, company mobile devices, printer/scanners, access points and A/V solutions.
  • Responsible for providing end user support for approved software titles- including installation, configuration, and version upgrades at all company levels.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, documenting solutions for computer systems including maintaining of knowledge base.
  • Responsible for administering security systems and asset inventory.
  • Responsible for making recommendations and exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting means, methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Responsible for coordinating with currently established vendors to procure and configure new and existing user workstations.  
  • Responsible for maintaining company assets within current company standards utilizing existing asset management tools.
  • Responsible for staging/set-up of new employee workspaces.
To be successful in this position, you will:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/IT related diploma preferred or minimum of three years of technical support experience and CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certified.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office365, Windows 10, Active Directory, DHCP and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting laptops, mobile devices and wireless devices.
  • A+, MCP or working equivalent. MCDST & MCSE designation or the willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and directed fashion.
  • Must possess exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and deadline orientated.
  • Ability to work with various levels of employees and communicate in a professional manner under pressure.
  • Process driven but must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
