CommunityRehabilitation Hospital North, located on the Community Hospital North medicalcampus and in partnership with Kindred Healthcare, is an inpatient facilitythat offers superior access and the latest equipment to improve the lives ofindividuals with a broad range of diagnoses - from brain and spinal cord injuryto stroke and amputation.
Our63,000 square foot facility has 60 beds and serves as a Midwestern regionalprovider for patients with complex physical and neurological injuriesand has an advanced accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation ofRehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in Adult Inpatient Care and for theirInpatient Brain Injury Specialty Program and Stroke Specialty Program.
Job Summary:
TheLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care services that meet thepsychosocial, physical, mental, and emotional aspects of care; meets thecommunication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiativeand responsibility indicative of professional expectations all under thesupervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
*Graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse program with current licensure in state of Indiana
*Accredited nursing program preferred. *Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
*Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred.
*Proficiency in basic computer skills as required.
