Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: EMS Instructor

  • Location: Highland Park Hospital

  • Full Time/Part Time: Part time, 20 hours

  • Hours: Rotating shift

  • Required Travel: N/A

    What you will need:

  • License: Registered Nurse or Licensed Paramedic

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or a graduate of a state approved Paramedic prgram

  • Certification: n/a

  • Experience: Diverse experience in Emergency Department or Paramedic field experience

  • Skills: N/A

    What you will do:

  • Coordinate, teach, and evaluate EMT classes to DOT curriculum, IDPH Rules and Regulations and HPH EMS System protocol and policies

  • Maintain appropriate functioning, supplies, equipment required for efficient management of EMS classes

  • Serves as a role model to students by maintaining a friendly, cooperative, and responsive professional style
