Preventative Maintenance Mechanic (Gas/Diesel)

Our First Student facility in Schaumburg, IL needs a reliable Preventative Maintenance Mechanic (gas/diesel engine) to join our team. Each Preventative Maintenance Mechanic must be properly licensed and have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimal service. We offer competitive salaries and generous benefits.

Preventative Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties Include:

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Perform multi-point inspections.
• Balance and rotate tires.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Check fluid levels and top off as needed.
• Road test vehicles before and after repairs.
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed.

Preventative Maintenance Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1+ years hands-on auto maintenance experience and/or vocational training.
• Meet minimum age requirement: 18 years of age.
• Must have own set of basic tools.
• Computer proficiency

Preventative Maintenance Required License/Certifications:

• Valid Driver’s License
