Overview:

In this role as Director, Sales Enablement reporting to the VP, Partner Programs, Training and Enablement, you will provide leadership and guidance for a global group of sales enablement professionals to provide a best in class learning experience for employees and partners. As a seasoned education professional, you will leverage your extensive global experience to build, motivate, and guide your managers and their teams of instructional designers, instructors, and support staff in exceeding our customers' expectations.

You will be passionate about developing your people, leading a high performing team and ultimately helping shape the future of sales enablement in an exciting and dynamic environment. Your experience in attracting, developing and retaining global talent from diverse backgrounds will enable your team to deliver high quality learning and help our employees, partners, customers succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of sales enablement professionals to provide a consistent best in class learning experience

  • Provide global leadership, direction, and vision for continuous improvement in development and delivery techniques, tools, systems, and processes

  • Drive the corporate strategy for sales enablement, and champion this vision with the corporate leadership team

  • Partner with sales leadership, customer success, product management and marketing to align training and enablement priorities with Mitel's vision and strategic imperatives.

  • Develop and implement the strategy for sales and channel enablement programs and tools to achieve sales operational excellence, increase performance and overall sales acumen of Mitel sales teams.

  • Develop and implement strategy for channel enablement to effectively acquire, retain, grow and support Mitel partners

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, plan, implement and manage sales/channel enablement programs and initiatives

  • Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders both within and outside the company to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction

  • Support the business in driving change management initiatives as it relates to organizational effectiveness and strategic direction

  • Represent sales enablement in providing leadership in the development and launch of new corporate initiatives

  • Manage all aspects of the global sales enablement business including resourcing, budget, revenues, and margin to meet corporate objectives

  • Supporting the VP, Partner Programs, Training and Enablement, provide regular updates and communications including to the Executive Leadership Team

  • Employ best-in class learning & development options, keeping customers, partners and employees engaged especially in a remote work environment

Requirements:

  • 10+ years within Sales Enablement in a corporate environment: Detailed understanding of all modalities and methods of training delivery (i.e., in person, virtual, and/or hybrid approaches); must understand the connection between business initiatives/objectives and learning and development across the business

  • 10+ years' experience leading a sales enablement organization required (10 or more employees including managing managers)

  • 10+ years' experience effectively managing sales enablement budget and investments to meet corporate objectives

  • Expertise in implementation and management of complex LMS (Learning Management System) solutions and integrations with other corporate systems (ERP, CRM/PRM, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, engineering, or related fields or equivalent work experience

  • Proven track record of driving innovation into sales enablement programs

  • Experience negotiating and developing legal agreements for consultants, contractors or service provision contracts. International experience is preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable business experience preferred

  • Personal experience leading training/consulting sessions for customers and partners around the globe is an asset
