Regional Manager, Continuous Improvement

Hammond, Indiana

As a member of the Seating Division, the Continuous Improvement Regional Manager will lead all Continuous Improvement activities across several North America JIT plants to ensure world-class performance that delivers the best safety, quality and costs.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Supporting all plants in the region for development & sharing best practices
• Coordinate rollup of gap analysis, target-setting, and performance tracking
• Provide clarity to senior leadership regarding improvements & planned increases/decreases
• Benchmarking & implementing scalable and sustainable lean processes and standards
• In partnership with the business leaders and key stakeholders, be accountable for implementing the appropriate business measures, KPI's, & operating metrics
• Drive executive of establishing World Class Manufacturing roadmaps through regional workshops, best practice sharing, and review
• Deliver regional MOS quarterly reviews
• Drive read-across of best practices by conducting regional workshops
• Develop and deploy robust training programs to teach lean principles and the use of continuous improvement tools to drive productivity and improved performance

Your Qualifications:

• 10 years' experience driving Continuous Improvement initatives and activities in a manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Minimum of 5 years experience leading CI and/or Six Sigma in a JIT manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Firm understanding of process improvement techniques and experience
• Organized and committed to meeting deadlines
• Able to critically evaluate individual processes and projects, then synthesize insights to arrive at a summary of overall organizational status
