Undergraduate Technical Intern (WD30103558310)

What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in (Des Moines, IA). This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it

  • Work on construction sites with other JCI employees performing the following:
  • Load system controller software
  • Controls checkout / commissioning
  • As-built control drawings
  • Build graphics (floor plans, mechanical flow diagrams, etc.)
  • Marking up set of architectural / mechanical plans
  • Working on construction sites will require you to work from ladders and wear JCI approved safety equipment (PPE).

Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2020 internship.


Qualifications

What we look for

Required

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering
  • Currently a (Freshman) status or higher
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required
