Job Description:
Cardno is seeking a full-time Water Resources Engineer based out of one of our offices in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin offices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
>Actively participating in a design team focused on a wide spectrum of water resource design-related tasks, including field data collection, modeling or quantitative analysis in support of design, permit application preparation, construction document preparation and construction
>Provide expertise in water resource engineering, with emphasis on stream and wetland mitigation, creation and restoration efforts
>Effectively communicate with design team and clients on design-related tasks
>Efficiently manage time and maintain open communication in order to deliver timely and quality work
Minimum Requirements:
>Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline is required.
>EIT or P.E. license within 6-months
>Ability to provide design support and support for wetland and stream restoration projects.
>Experience in latest and popularly used hydrology and hydraulics models (i.e. HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, RIVERMorph).
>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
