Job Description

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Workday Professional Services Group within Alight. As a sales leader you will report directly to the EVP, Payroll & Cloud Sales. You will manage a team of sales colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual revenue targets for Workday and related products
  • Collaborates with aligned client team Client Executive and Service Delivery Leader to ensure mutual understanding of opportunity and the ability to deliver a successful service
  • Identifies and generates demand within new markets and listens for opportunities to create new products (e.g. bundling/packaging of similar services)
  • Leads the development of a sales plan for service delivery opportunities focusing on targeted organizations where a service delivery opportunity is likely to exist
  • Responsible for setting and executing the sales strategy
  • Demonstrates strong sales strategy ability, crafting and presenting client offers and helping the Alight client team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale
  • Utilizes other selling resources at the appropriate time in the selling process
  • Manages and maximizes the client level cost of sale
  • Collects and communicates market intelligence on products/services, incorporates it into sales client planning process, and shares with the Alight Sales & Accounts community
  • Maximizes the use (both individually and with the team) of sanctioned tools including, but not limited to, Salesforce.com systems

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Sales Skills - Exhibit excellent skills throughout all stages of a consultative selling process, including pipeline management, strong written and verbal communications, thoughtful negotiation skills and the ability to close opportunities. They should be able to sell value over price by providing deep insight about how the service will impact the client's business.
  • Subject Matter Expertise - Broad content knowledge of ERP cloud landscape. Understand the competitive landscape and ability to effectively communicate the benefits of cloud mulit-tenant architecture. They will need to develop a thorough understanding of all Alight products and services in their portfolio.
  • Relationship Management - Build strong relationships at multiple levels in a potential client company, including the C-suite, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to that organization. They will also need to maintain productive, internal relationships in order to leverage those resources when necessary.
  • Communication/Project Management - Ability to manage multiple, complex sales processes at the same time. They need very strong internal and external communication skills, with the ability to listen comprehensively and deliver clear instructions and/or recommendations.
  • Team Leadership - Strive to be a role model for colleagues they work with closely in the organization. They should be willing to proactively work together to overcome obstacles and share best practices across the team.

Work Experience:

  • 10 years of managing and leading a sales team
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with: HR technology, specifically Workday
  • Excellent selling and sales strategy skills, including the ability to close opportunities
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Internal and External communication skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Familiarity with consultative selling and ERP cloud landscape
  • Regular travel expected at 25-50%
