Our Innovative Internship Program is designed to equip students with the tools needed to succeed in the 3D world. You will be part of a cohort of students and work on meaningful projects that will add to your professional portfolio and skills. Internships can often lead to professional roles after graduation.

Our interns use their education and newly gained skills on real projects and are embedded in our teams, working side by side with FARO professionals.

Our Quality Analyst Intern will provide quality related metrics reporting and analysis, including evaluating, designing, and controlling data sources. This internship provides exposure to tracking field performance of our products, analyzing data to identify improvement areas, and participating in formal 8D problem-solving exercises. In this position, you will be exposed to operations that conduct business within an ISO 9001:2015 compliant environment. You will also be exposed to some of the most sophisticated mobile measurement equipment available in the market today.

Essential Functions:

"Champion for the Customer Mindset" -- This role may include direct customer contact to ensure FARO products meet and exceed expectations, and that improvement requests are fed back into our Product Marketing organization. Strong interest in analyzing data and spotting trends or opportunities to improve product reliability. The Quality organization is responsible for collecting field performance data and prioritizing improvement projects that may be required to ensure products meet field performance expectations. Solid communication skills in both verbal and written form to all levels of the organization. Ability to work onsite, and adherence to all COVID related safety protocols

Hiring Preferences:

• Enrolled in a BS degree program in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Industrial Technology, or Quality program
• Part time position, flexible hours
• Travel: Not required. Lake Mary location only
