Job/Internship Description

Summary:
CenterPoint Energy's Home Service Plus is the state's largest provider of major appliance maintenance and repair services, as well as replacement heating and cooling equipment. We have been around for more than 80 years and we continue to lead the industry in Minnesota.

As an HVAC Service Technician intern, you'll:
  • Maintain condition of tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient service.
  • Complete recording keeping functions to ensure accurate information is maintained.
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Promote and accept accountability for providing superior customer satisfaction and selling of Home Service Plus products and services (e.g. Service Plus Repair Plans, Options, Product sales referrals) to customers.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers.


For Consideration:
Completed a 1-year program or a minimum 2 semesters or 3 quarters from an accredited educational institution in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning.

Experience:
Requires no prior related work experience.

Working Conditions:
  • Able to work outdoors with some exposure to all weather conditions.
