2021 Summer Internships - Mesa, AZ

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking Summer Interns to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. The successful candidate will intern in one of the internship programs listed below:

Assembly Operations Internship- Support for various product lines and continuous improvement, including but not limited to the following: oil/supply room set-up, value stream flow, 5S projects, new product cell design, design training program/plan, and metric reporting assistance.

Quality Engineering Internship- Support overall quality of products through attending meetings, preparing reports, updating quality metrics, collaborating with other teams, and working on projects including but not limited to the following: zero defect mission, electronic reject ticket, internal calibration project, failure codes for cables, and FMEA.

The Person

The key qualities of a Summer Intern at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Materials Science)

All Summer Internships pay $18/hour, the hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am - 4 pm AZ (MST). The Internships run from May/June - August.

The candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship. Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
