Position Summary:

BayFirst Solutions is currently seeking a Sr. Marine Engineer / Naval Architect to support a program for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Washington, DC.

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum fifteen (15) years demonstrated experience with government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering.
• Experience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition the (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects.
• Active Professional Engineer's License in Mechanical Engineering.
