Hughes Network Systems is seeking a Corporate Marketing Communications Specialist at our Headquarters in Germantown MD. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic marketing professional to join the world leader in satellite technology and services, putting digital and traditional skills to work in promoting the company's brand reputation and supporting sales and marketing efforts globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all digital marketing and communications activities across the company (Corporate, International, Government, Defense)
  • Responsible for website consulting/oversight of global web properties for brand consistency
  • Develop content, implement and manage digital media campaigns to support business objectives, including email blasts, podcasts, social media blogs etc reporting on social media metrics to achieve benchmarks
  • Work with the Marcom team to generate compelling messaging, ads and various print/online media that tell the story of Hughes, conducting daily media monitoring
  • Oversee external agencies as needed to support business objectives, including setting budgets, negotiating contracts and evaluating performance

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of experience in managing digital marketing programs, ideally in technology sectors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with media monitoring tools like Meltwater and sales and marketing platforms like Hubspot, SalesForce and Marketo
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to navigate across business stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Experience managing agencies, consultants and business relationships
