• Oversee all field layout and field engineering activities for the Ceco Florida business unit including:
  • Control lines from control points.
  • Layout Foundations.
  • Layout vertical formwork such as columns and walls.
  • Elevation control points.
  • Layout decks and deck edges.
  • Layout required embeds block-outs and other items required by contract.
• Responsible for supervising and mentoring all Field Layout Technicians and assists in mentoring Design Technicians.
• Review, finalize & approve all drawings produced by the Design Technician team.
• Supervise the objections of the site survey and provides horizontal and vertical control using Total Station
• Delegate clerical support and documentation of engineering activities.
• Manage and maintain proper usage and storage of all surveying equipment.
• Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

• Minimum of seven years of experience supporting similar position responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, interpersonal.
• Extensive travel up to 70%.
• Advanced reading and understanding of contract drawings, including but not limited to both structural and architectural drawings, with the ability to cross check between the two documents as needed.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred.
