Pomp's Tire is currently hiring a Commercial Tire Technician. This technician will perform a variety of tire, maintenance, repair, mounting/dismounting taskswith off vehicle tire and wheel assemblies moving upto Trucks, and other heavy vehicles based on experience.Prior experience in tire service is preferred but not required.We will train the right person.At Pomp's, we value the opportunities to advance our employee's skills and positions at any level and work to support your development as a Tire Technician.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mounting, dismounting and replacing tires in commercial vehicles
• Troubleshoot customer tire needs
• Inspect vehicles for additional problems
• Use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, brake lathe, air wrench, and other essential tools to perform the job

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work overtime and after hours calls
• Ability to perform physical aspects of job
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic automotive skills and general mechanical knowledge preferred

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a fast paced, continually changing environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Frequent standing, twisting, bending, stooping, crouching, and crawling
• Frequent use of fingers and hands to grasp items, frequent reaching above shoulder
