JOB PURPOSE: Perform equipment cleaning/sanitization, clean room cleaning/sanitization, setup of production equipment for production runs. Functions include setups, changeovers, organizing clean part carts and equipment repairs when required.

REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports directly to the Comfort Bath Production Technician Supervisor or designated shift lead production technician.

JOB FUNCTION: This is a 10-hour day position with scheduled days of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

BASIC

  • Responsible for proper setup and clean status of Comfort Bath production lines

  • Disassembly and reassembly of lines

  • Manual parts washing

  • C,O,P- Clean Out of Place on all disassembled parts in cop washer

  • R,F,S cleaning on all production lines.

  • Cleaning and sanitization of COP and RFS equipment

  • Setups and changeovers on all lines

  • Work in a safe manner, and insure that production equipment is cleaned and sanitized in a safe working condition.

  • Serve as technician helper for minor repairs or participate in major repair of equipment (if needed).

  • Conduct self in a courteous and professional manner, and follow the standard set by the Sage Culture.

  • Work well with minimum supervision

  • Ensure compliance to the current GMPs throughout the manufacturing process

  • Work with department coordinators, lead persons, engineers, and departments to improve shift effectiveness, increase productivity, reduce costs and maintain regulatory compliance. QUALITY/VISUAL: Participates in regular safety meetings held by Production Technician LeadsVisually checks the lines for any cleaning irregularitiesQuality ensures first piece parts off the line after cleaning are acceptable no dirt or debris present DOCUMENTATION AND FORMS COMPLETION:

  • AMMS

  • Cleaning documentation forms

  • Standard Operating Procedures PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Standing, Walking, Stairs, Sitting, Lifting, Carrying, Crouching, Reaching, Handling, Talking, Hearing, Visual Activity, Near Acuity, Color Vision

ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS:

Dust, Dirt, Cold, Noise, Heat, Hazardous Materials

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS / DUTIES:

  • Teamwork cooperate with all employees.

  • Takes initiative and is self-motivated.

  • Decision making willing to use judgment within limits.

  • Have excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Be able to work from written or verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Mechanically inclined.

  • Working knowledge of algebra, geometry, and shop math.

  • Possess personal computer skills.(Excel, word)

  • Basic machine shop skills to include use of hand and power tools such as drill press, belt sander, grinder, power drills, power washers, etc.

  • License: Valid Illinois driver license.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
