RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Role

Work on a team of professionals dedicated to providing holistic financial advice to high net worth and ultra-high net worth business executives, in areas including investments, estate planning, company benefits retirement planning, cash flow planning, and tax planning and compliance. You will work with an established client-facing advisor to service the needs of clients without needing to build your own book of business.

Details

    Provide advice to a pre-existing book of clients using your technical advisory skills with a holistic financial planning mindset.
  • No cold calling of prospects. Dedicated to helping clients make personalized and informed financial decisions for their unique situations. Communicate with clients and third parties to implement advice.
  • Conducting client meetings on behalf of advisor is an optional responsibility depending on skillset.
  • Ability to spot technical and other issues and advise/implement solutions.
  • Ability to manage team functions, including internal and client requests.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills to provide best-in-class financial advice.
  • Prepare and/or review tax projections and personal income tax returns. Previous 1040 tax preparation experience a plus. Willingness to learn and develop tax preparation/review skills a must in order to provide clients with holistic planning advice.
  • Able to prepare financial exhibits and analyses at a consistently high level of quality, accuracy, timeliness and readiness for client delivery and proactively develop meeting agendas incorporating planning ideas and advice. Able to gauge the need for such exhibits and make assumptions and decisions regarding such exhibits independently and demonstrate an advisory mindset.
  • Experience with advanced estate planning and transfer techniques such as GRATs, QPRTs, FLPs, SLATs, and charitable trusts preferred.
  • Exemplify good corporate citizenship and demonstrate a high level of integrity and business ethic.
  • Provide continued leadership throughout the office through work ethic, initiative, and willingness to help and train others, and by demonstrating an increasingly strong counseling skill set. Actively mentor other associates and make suggestions on how to improve upon what we are doing. Actively support company initiatives and be an evident culture carrier and resource to others.
  • Continued adherence to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, quality, client service, information security, and compliance.
