Job Description
Description: Provides contract logistics support to PMA-261 CH-53K Supportability Team with guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft and weapon systems, support with the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy for the CH-53K life cycle. Collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs.  Create and manage procurement documentation in Procurement Management Tool (PMT), entries such as procurement information, procurement schedule, and Procurement Initiation Documents (PID) package development.  Lead and assist with contract modifications, creation and tracking of PIDs in PMT.  Assist with the construction, format, consolidation, and presentation of Top Level Power Point briefs, schedule, and coordinate meetings.  Provides development, modification, preparation, and validation of documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. Manage and report status of Procurement Milestones via close coordination with PID procurement team including IPT members, Contract Specialist and Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO).  Coordinate with Contract Specialists to develop, track, and report status of Contracts actions. Update and report status of program Financial Trackers. Coordinate closely with resource sponsors, Business Financial Managers (BFMs), and Comptroller to execute program appropriated funding. Utilize Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) to create SPIDs.  Assist with Spend Plan Reviews and to provide responses to Budget Drills. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications is required, specifically: Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams, and Outlook.

Location: Patuxent River, MD

Education and Experience: BS or BA degree with at least six (6) years of DoD acquisition logistics experience in conducting contract logistics support, analytical studies applicable to Integrated Product Support (IPE) Elements and demonstrated ability to conduct studies, analysis, or evaluations of DoD weapon Systems/equipment OR an AA or AS with eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted.

Security Clearance: Secret or must be obtainable after hire
