Cell Technical Lead DRW-4940 Deep River Connecticut Full-time 2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 12:00 am (M-F)
Responsible for assigning daily scheduling tasks to cell personnel as well as overseeing the general work flow for the cell.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with process technician identifying and solving processing issues
Complete daily paperwork on all machinery in department
Troubleshoot alarms and identify process problems
Assign daily tasks in work cell
Oversee the work of the lead operators and mold technicians in cell
Work with lead operators training new operators
Assure the work is being completed efficiently
Start up production runs after set up is complete
Work within process limits to maintain quality standards
Work with quality department to maintain quality standards
Assure all safety procedures are being followed in cell
Ensure equipment is in good working order, fill out RFM as needed
Identify problems in tool set up (possible leaks, areas of wear in the water lines, etc.)
Identify areas of improvement concerning parts containment
Other tasks as needed by supervisor
Set cameras (Cognex) and modify existing camera settings

Education and Experience:
2 years injection molding experience or equivalent
Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions
Problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize
Can properly use all required hand tools and fork truck
Positive / can-do attitude
Must be proficient in English
