What will you do?

Blueprint is looking for a self-motivated and collaborative Inventory and Material Master Data Manager to support supply planning, inventory management/reporting, ERP Inventory Management implementation, and master data management for its commercial programs and late phase clinical portfolio. The position will function as both SME and Supply Chain Project Lead in the implementation of the ERP inventory management system. The individual will collaborate closely with several internal functional areas of the company as well as CMO's, CPO's and 3PL, to create and implement global inventory strategies that will balance supply & demand while accounting for effective and cost-efficient inventory management. Aligning product volume and SKU mix with capacity and capability will require integration of financial and operating plans that account for corporate objectives & timeline to deliver on interrupted product supply to Blueprint's patients. Additionally, the individual will drive decision making that utilizes data, planning processes, and statistics to identify root causes and robust planning data to enable the organization to continuously meet and beat performance targets. This position will be based in Cambridge, MA and will report into the Associate Director of Supply Planning.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for inventory management, reporting, and master data management - across our two commercial franchises and late stage Clinical programs, from drug substance, drug product, to finished goods.
  • Functions as a Subject Matter Expert for Supply Chain and Project Lead on the design and implementation of the ERP Inventory Management system, currently scheduled to commence in early 2022.
  • Manages the design, development, and maintenance of Blueprint's supply chain master data.
  • Leads the EOM inventory reporting processes, collaborating with CMO's, CPO's, 3PL, Finance and Planning Managers to meet timelines and information accuracy.
  • Develops reporting and KPI's that will help drive better business decisions
  • Proactively analyzes inventory and communicate potential supply issues, while collaborating in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Promotes better visibility across the board - highlight the movement of inventory through our Supply Chain
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with relevant SOPs. Identifies gaps and makes appropriate mitigation recommendations to ensure global compliance. Develops new functional SOPs, as necessary, and provides training to staff.

What qualifications do we require?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7+ years of inventory management experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated and GxP environment(s).
  • Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of an ERP inventory management tool, preferably with Oracle.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory management and project management.
  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office and MRP process.
  • Must have excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
  • Oracle super user preferred.
