Job Description

Position Description

Supports the performance of entry-level production quality tasks.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Monitors Bill of Materials (BOMs) and shortages along the production line
  2. Organizes the daily quality packets; performs surveillance audits and updates production reports
  3. Processes the quality alert and operator card change training logs
  4. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use hand tools, etc.
  • Ability to understand LEAN principles to perform job duties for continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma
Experience Requirements
  • Pass the QA Manufacturing Support test
  • Good organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Advanced computer skills preferred
  • Ability to give attention to detail
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis & analytical problem-solving
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical & Environmental Requirements
May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights. (Frequently 5 - 25 pounds), (Occasionally 25 - 75 pounds), (Rarely greater than 75 pounds)
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to use feet for repetitive movement as in operating foot controls over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
