Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Call on management representatives, professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments and provide technical support and information to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.

Accompany the sales team on presentations to potential customers to answer technical questions, provide input on fuel station design, and estimate costs related to fuel station construction.

Visit proposed station construction sites to access project feasibility and develop proposed installation layouts.

Size and specify equipment to ensure it meets the fleet needs of the customer.

Prepare internal cost estimates for projects by soliciting quotes or estimates from internal and external providers including construction, engineering, equipment, freight and project administration costs.

Assist with technical information related to the procurement of equipment such as compressors, fuel delivery systems and point-of-sale terminals.

Review drawings executed by Engineering to ensure they meet the customer's specifications.

Support the RFP process, read technical specifications and develop product descriptions, equipment lists, project schedules and project budgets.

Respond to questions, via phone and email, from the sales team.

Review blueprints, plans, and other documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or services.

Draw up or propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.

Provide technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

Provide technical support for sales or service contracts for Clean Energy products or services.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Technology or related experience, plus a minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience selling or providing technical / engineering sales support, ideally with gas compressors (natural gas, air, nitrogen, helium, etc.)

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with aspects of mechanical, civil and electrical engineering and civil, electrical and mechanical construction practices

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook; advanced Excel expertise preferred. The ability to read blueprints; AutoCAD experience is helpful but not required.
