Portfolio Analyst, Venture Banking Group

In this position, you will assist the banking and credit teams with the underwriting analysis for new and existing deals including monthly monitoring of venture portfolio including spreading financial statements, preparing sections of the deal memos and various data entry. You will test covenant compliance, prepare risk ratings and Compliance dashboards while assisting with loan closing process including working with other areas of the Bank to fully onboard client.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conduct financial analysis of statements on a monthly basis, test financial covenants, and inform RMs and Venture Bankers of relevant trends in financial performance and key metrics
• Assist with preparing credit memos for new deals as well as working with other Bank departments to fully onboard the client
• Track deal structures, items related to pricing, reporting and covenant requirements related to existing portfolio
• Exhibit general knowledge of Bank's products and services and work with Bank's client services and treasury management teams to provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) from four-year college or university required
• Must be detail oriented, analytical and organized
• Ability to work collaboratively across various departments
• Team player, positive attitude, willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
