We are expanding rapidly, operate in twenty-five US markets, and are looking to open more markets in the near future! We are adding a Senior Accountant to our team who will own the accounting / reporting for Fooda's rapidly growing Cafe Replacement segment and report to the Director of FP&A.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Own the financial close process for Fooda's rapidly growing Cafe Replacement segment including monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and physical inventory.
Serve as a key business partner to the Cafe Replacement team, pointing out trends and opportunities, researching variances to trend and plan (budget / forecast), and communicating effectively to management. The ideal candidate will become Fooda's resident expert on Cafe financials and financial performance.
Review monthly Cafe P&Ls (~30 cafes and growing) both to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and to find opportunities to improve financial performance
Streamline and improve efficiency of accounting and financial reporting process (or better yet automate them!) both within Cafe Replacement and withing the rest of accounting. Improve or build scalable processes that will grow with our business
Responsible for audit requests for the cafe business such as balance sheet reconciliations and other analyses.
Subject to career interest, opportunity to present or help present monthly Cafe Replacement financials to management and the executive team
As bandwidth allows, assist the Director of FP&A with analysis, reporting and/or presentations for management, executives, and investors (both for cafe replacement and Fooda's business as a whole).
What You Should Already Have
Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 4 years' progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Strong work ethic and desire to take full ownership of Cafe Replacement financials
Advanced skills in MS Excel (Vlookups / Index Match, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Tableau, or other database / data management experience a plus. SQL / general understanding of relational databases a plus
Demonstrated ability to automate, streamline and document processes
Public accounting or internal audit experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work under tight deadlines and competing priorities
