Job Purpose

effectively and efficiently screen, source, input, and assist the College recruitment team in filling open positions with the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Recruiting Assistant performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and assist recruit qualified dental providers from Universities. Perform searches for qualified candidates using sources such as computer databases, networking, building college program networks, internet recruiting resources, job fairs, or employee referrals.
  • Data-entry and profile set-up.
  • Source job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them.
  • Arrange interviews with Director of College Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Manager for the specific clinical location.
  • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.
  • Obtain contact information and create relationships with University representatives.
  • Event planning and set-up (ex. Booking Venues and Catering orders.)
  • Ordering supplies and materials for events.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Active Listening skills. Must be able to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Time Management Skills to manage ones own time.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification)

  • 1-2 Years of related work experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills including MSOffice and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Job requires being honest and ethical.

Work Conditions and Schedules

  • The College Recruiting Assistant works under the general supervision of the Director of College Recruiting in their day-to-day activities.?The office environment is fast paced.
