Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping,sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adheres to all operational,merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of thestore in orderto support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Store Operations

• *Maintains all floor care cleanliness standards including the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer
• *Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store, e.g.Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom and Restrooms
• Maintains supplies needed for performing all cleaning responsibilities*Adheres to all company policies concerning Health and Safety
• Cross-trained in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.)Customer Experience
• Role models strong customer service principles with internal / external customers
• Supports a positive store culture and embodies all aspects of internal associate engagement programs*Supports and responds to all Front End coverage needsHuman Resources
• Upholds a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates
• Accepts ongoing recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to all labor laws and Associate meal and break period policiesMerchandising*Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy
• Adheres and upholds all merchandise and signage standards
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded per company guidelines
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day

Loss Prevention & Safety

• Adheres to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelinesand policies including shrink reduction
• Identifies and communicates alert signals and potential safety issues immediately tomanagement / loss prevention to ensure a risk-free environment
• Does not engage in the pursuit of or apprehension of a shoplifter unless specifically asked to act as a witness by LP
