Opportunity Overview:
* Maintenance Mechanic
* Perm Job/Direct Hire
* $20-$25
* Antioch, IL; Naperville, IL; Wheeling, IL
* 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:
* Safety
o Follow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tagout
o Maintain the safe and efficient operation/repair production equipment
o Recognize and correct safety hazards
o Follow GMP practices to meet company standards
* Setup/Process
o Ability to understand and adjust machine and set-up parameters
o Recognize product defects and adjust equipment and settings to correct problems
o Provide production staff training, direction, and assistance on equipment operation
* Maintenance
o Monitors machines for mechanical problems
o Perform efficient repairs on production equipment. Troubleshoot/repair/verify-turn over equipment to production and minimize production downtime.
o Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance duties
o Review and maintain any required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders
o Perform other related duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Electrical experience preferred
* Must have own tools for the position
* Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed
* Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
* Ability to work in a maintenance team environment
* Proven ability to perform in a manufacturing environment, high volume high speed manufacturing experience preferred
* Mechanical Press and/or Thermoforming experience a plus
* Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and/or blue prints required
* Ability to operate forklifts and man lifts
