Job Description

Description:

Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures.Trouble-shoot and maintain cup-presses and related equipment per written or verbal instructions.Replace and repair all machine parts necessary.Replace electrical components (switches, relays, and timers), change hoses, bead hoppers, and loading guns in accordance with set schedules.Check maintenance sheets for maintenance duties and scheduled services due.Check machine efficiency and monitor/control bead weight.Replace, adjust and align molds to include O-ring replacement.Check for worn plating on molds. If plating is worn, the incumbent will send mold out for re-plating.Perform project work such as moving machines, small fabrications, welding, and installation. Install new machinery or modified parts to existing machinery.Three (3-5) years experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training Special knowledge in the use of hand-tools and power-toolsUnderstanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gaugesAbility to learn and understand manufacturing processes and able to inspect and repair or replace components.Proficient in reading and following basic blueprints, manuals, and mechanic and electrical schematicsExperience operating test equipment and/or softwareExperience operating various hand and power toolsWorking knowledge of automated controls7:30am-4:00pm (1 openings)3:45pm-12:15am (2 openings)12:00am-8:30am (1 opening) *must have printing experience for this night shift opening*$25-$30.00 an hour
